The mission of Scouting America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
In BSA Troop 1130, we accomplish this by leading, teaching, and teaming up for exploration. From the first hike in the mountains to the last campfire of the evening, we are all about developing leaders, making friends, increasing confidence, and growing in ways you never imagined!
BSA Troop 1130 was founded in 1963 and is part of the Wolf Trap District of the National Capital Area Council. We are chartered by American Legion Post 270 and hosted by Trinity United Methodist Church in McLean, VA. We would love to have you join us in our outdoor activities and weekly meetings!
